Marlow’s Gift Cottage was launched in 2011, as a brick and mortar storefront and Etsy shop.  As a storefront, it was a place for local artisans, crafters, and vintage collectors to sell their creations and treasures, alongside my own.  I loved meeting and connecting with other creatively inspired people!  Sadly, the building my store was located in was being sold, so I decided to put all go my efforts into my Etsy shop and local events.  I really wanted to find a way to continue helping other small business creatives. This blog has been something I really wanted to do for quite awhile, and I’m happy to be able to finally make it happen!  I have 4 main goals for this blog.

  1. To help other makers and vintage sellers by sharing what I’ve learned about making a successful Etsy shop and selling at craft fairs, festivals, and events.
  2. To promote other Etsy shop owners, bloggers, and small business owners.
  3. To share my love of crochet, DIY and crafts, allergy friendly recipes & heirloom recipes, and my general lifestyle & travel etc.
  4. To connect you to businesses that I find helpful for supplies, products, and inspiration.

I’m so excited to be joining the blogging community and building this blog with content that inspires you and is helpful to you!!

Thank you so much for supporting my journey!
