The Elite Ear Warmer is a free crochet pattern, here on my blog! It is an easy headband/ear warmer pattern for a beginner crocheter. I love messy bun hats, so I wanted this ear warmer design to be extra wide, to cover the ears and give a bit more coverage. It will fit teens and adults and has lots of stretch ability to accommodate many head circumferences. This easy to crochet, ear warmer pattern –The Elite Ear Warmer– uses single crochet and back loop single crochet stitches, to give it a bit of dimension, but keep it simple.

Materials List:
-Bulky Weight (size 5) yarn , 1 skein…Pictures are shown using Loops and Threads Charisma in Off White (109 yards per skein)…found at Michaels
–US N/15-10.00 mm crochet hook…check gauge…feel free to change hook size to get the correct gauge.

Notes:
-Make sure you are joining directly into the top of ch 2 at the end of each round. You will have 2 strands above hook and 1 below. Do NOT join into the gap between the ch 2 and the next sc. Joining into the gap will create a hole.

-Count your stitches after each round to be sure you do not miss a stitch
-ch 2 does NOT count as first sc
