The Wrapped In Love Afghan Crochet Pattern #606 is made with double-stranded medium worsted weight, size 4 yarn. The pictures are shown using Robin’s Egg, Lilac, and Soft Pink. My niece, who I designed it for, really liked pastel colors and these three colors together were so lovely, that it helped inspire the name! Below you will find the free pattern with all of the yarn specifics. The possibilities are endless with color combinations, making this a great blanket pattern for everyone on your list…including each room in your house!! You can also purchase an inexpensive, printer-friendly, PDF of this pattern at my Etsy shop MarlowsGiftCottage, or with the direct pattern link here.

Size: Blanket is approximately 50 inches wide and approximately 59 inches long.
Materials List:
-4 skeins of Caron One Pound medium (size 4) yarn …Pictured: Color A is shown using 2 skeins of Caron One Pound in Robins Egg (812 yards per skein) , Color B is shown using 1 skein of Caron One Pound in Lilac (812 yards per skein), and Color C is shown using 1 skein of Caron One Pound in Soft Pink (812 yards per skein).
–US N/15-10.00mm crochet hook…check gauge…feel free to change hook size to get the correct gauge.
–Tapestry Needle (for weaving in ends)
Gauge:
The gauge is approximately 8 dc X 4 1/2 rows = 4 in x 4 in
Notes:
-ch=chain, dc= double crochet, st(s)= stitch(es), YO= yarn over
-Count your stitches after each row to be sure you do not miss a stitch.
-Ch 3 at beginning of each row counts as dc, use it as a stitch space at the end of each row.
-R1 is Right Side
-You will be holding two strands together throughout.
-Reminder to Beginners: When you are working the last dc at the end of a row and need to change colors because the next row is a different color combination, be sure a slip knot is placed on the new color combination and the hook uses it in place of the “last YO” when pulling the the new colors through the final 4 loops on hook stage. This will complete the final dc and your new colors will be ready. I find it easiest to cut both A and B away before the final “YO” so you can start with 2 fresh skeins.
-When working R1, use the top loops of the chain (there will be two loops, instead of the typical one top loop, because you are holding two strands together).

With Color A and Color B held together: ch 100
R1: dc in 4th ch from hook and each ch across = 98 sts (last 3 chains of original 100 counts as first dc)
R2-R33: ch 3 (ch 3 counts as first dc), turn, dc in next st and each additional st across = 98 sts
R34: ch 3 (ch 3 counts as first dc), turn, dc in next st and each additional st across (when working the last dc, change to Colors A and C during the last YO and pull through final four loops on hook, see notes above and pic below) = 98 sts
R35-R68: Continuing with Colors A and C: ch 3 (ch 3 counts as first dc), turn, dc in next st and each additional st across = 98 sts
After R68, fasten off and weave ends.
